Delivery Policy. We aim to deliver all orders to UK mainland addresses within 5/7 working days from receipt of order, however, certain products may be on an extended delivery period. Will always advise you of this and await your acceptance before proceeding with your order. We will use all reasonable endeavours to deliver your goods within the time stated but we will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery. If you do not receive your goods within the stated delivery period please contact us immediately by e-mail or telephone
On receipt of the goods please inspect carefully for damage and advise the carrier's driver accordingly. If you are unable to fully inspect the goods for whatever reason, please sign the consignment note as "unexamined". Should you sign the consignment note as "received in good condition" or fail to comment on the consignment note (“unexamined” / “Damaged” etc), you may be liable for any damages. Any damages should be advised via e-mail to us within 24 hours of receipt to avoid additional charges.
www.oil-lamp.co.uk is intended primarily for UK customers and our charges for UK mainland deliveries are as follows: -
Standard delivery is Free for all orders over £50.00 within mainland UK.
Standard delivery for orders under £50.00 delivery charge is £4.60.
Next Day delivery (overnight carrier) charge is £14.95.
Saturday Delivery is £34.50.
Notes: Next Day means next working day and excludes weekends and Bank Holidays. Next Day or Saturday deliveries are subject to stock availability and confirmation of the same. If you require Next Day or Saturday delivery we must receive your order before 11 a.m. on the day of despatch.
Deliveries to Northern Ireland, UK Islands and some areas of northern Scotland may attract an additional delivery charge, but we will always seek your approval of this before processing your order. Deliveries outside the UK will be subject to additional charges, which we will confirm before processing your order. There may also be delays whilst we arrange suitable shipment. Customers should note that they would be responsible for all import duties and taxes.
Returns Policy. If you are not satisfied with your purchase for any reason and you wish to return any goods please advise us via e-mail or by letter. The Company will advise you of the necessary steps to be taken via e-mail and must approve all returns outside the 14 day period referred to below before you dispatch the Goods back to us.

You will be responsible for the Goods until they reach us, so it is our recommendation that you use a secure delivery method, which requires a signature on delivery. Providing the Goods are returned in their original packaging and condition and within 14 working days of their delivery to you, the Company will issue a replacement or full refund to the total value of the Goods less delivery charges.
The buyer will be responsible for the safe return of the Goods to the Company. However, if you return Goods to us which are faulty or that you have received by mistake or for any other reason, which is deemed to be our fault, we will refund all payments made to us and also pay for the return postage.
